February 16, 2025Everything went smoothly, with a simple system for picking up and returning the vehicle (Valencia airport). The car is collected from the airport parking lot, which is right next to the terminal and connected by a bridge. Once you collect your luggage, it’s about a 4-minute walk to the car. However, I’m not giving 5 stars because the car was handed over without the right side mirror cover and was quite damaged. They didn’t have time to repair it after the previous customer and just handed it off to the next one. This increased the risk of being fined by the police—something I would have had to pay myself—and only then could I ask Blanca Cars for reimbursement. No customer wants to deal with that. When the car was brought to me at the agreed location in the parking lot, I had three suitcases, two backpacks, my wife, and a three-year-old child, with an hour and a half of driving ahead of us. In that moment, you really don’t want to deal with rejecting the car and waiting for a different one—you’ve just landed and want to get to your accommodation. They don’t have a direct office at the airport—the car is brought from elsewhere, and the staff member only spoke Spanish, not English. So I simply accepted the car with the damaged mirror, because you don’t know how long it would take to get a replacement or how the whole process would go. For the full 16 days I was driving around Spain, I had this in the back of my mind, constantly hoping I wouldn't get an unnecessary fine. That’s my only complaint—otherwise, I think they’re a good choice. I recommend them.
